1983 Honda Odyssey FL250 & Twister Hammerhead 150 at the Sand Dunes

The Beverly sand dunes is not the biggest or most exciting ORV riding areas, but it can be a lot of fun too.  Nestled up against the foothills of the Saddle Mountains and near the Columbia River, this area has a scenic beauty in its own sort of way.  It's not like the dunes near the ocean or the huge dunes in other desert areas.  If you can go on a weekday, the place can be almost completely empty and you can just about have full run of the place to yourself.  That can be a great time for taking young kids to the sand dunes to learn how to drive.  On weekends, this ORV riding area can be very crowded and a little more hazardous for inexperienced drivers.  The Beverly sand dunes might be on the small side as far as dunes go, but it's still possible to have some big fun there.
